A bit of yellow and blue

Good morning!  It's Monday!  We almost had a weekend off work this last weekend, but then the boss changed his mind...  Not to worry though, it was an easy trip with easy guests and good weather... the kind we like!

Today I have another Wilma Kay Hatter card to share with you.  I quite like how this one turned out.  I think I prefer the bolder colour schemes on my cards as opposed to pastels...

The papers are from my stash and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.  The pearl drop is by Tim Holtz and the sentiment is a rubon from Pebbles.  The lovely Wilma Kay Hatter is available as a rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet stamps.

Here's a close-up of Wilma Kay Hatter:

I forgot my notebook again, so I will update the copic colours this evening if I remember.

UPDATE:
Skin: E50, E51, E53, V20 and R20
Hair: E21, E23, E27
Red: R25, RV29, E27
Blue: BG000, BG01, BG05, BG07 and BG72 over the top
Yellow: Y21, Y26, Y17

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Let's Ink it up: All Girls

Okay, that's it from me for now.  I had better go and do some work!

Did you see up on the sidebar (top left) that we have New Releases to share this week at Some Odd Girl?  You'll love these new girls... they are gorgeous!  Check in at the SOG blog at 9am EST to see the first of four lovely new fairies!

Ciao!

How fun! You always pick the best paper! I think I like my cards better on the bold color side as well. I make myself sneak in some pastels here and there, because I know other people like it. Great layout!!!

Hi Arabella, it's Sarah here - ha bet that made you jump didn't it, wouldn't surprise me if you thought I'd dropped off the face of the Earth or into a black hole I visit so little right now!

Well I do watch, I just don't get much time for commenting. Today I'm making the effort tho.

Fab card - as always, I think you do perfectly with either brights or pastels, but I know we all have personal favourites. I just wish I knew how you picked your paper combos - they are wonderful.

Was looking at your before and after colouring as well. Well, what can I say - I thought your colouring was perfect before, it's uber-perfect now! Beyond perfect - it's amazing!!!

Hope you and yours are all well, you may see me again this month - you may not. I leave it to be a surprise for you!

mwah!!!!
Sarah

Oh and thanks for the link for the chocolate wraps - have gone with presents to the teachers tho that don't include food. You never know who is dieting and who isn't!

Thanks for the nice comment on my paper bouquet as well and I don't remember giving presents to my teachers either - but then I'm as old as a dinosaur, according to my darling daughter!!!!!!!
