I'm late!

I'm late with my Little Miss Muffet Stamps post today!  Sorry about that!  Things got on top of me this week... My parents left to fly back to NZ this morning and we have a guest trip starting this evening, so it was a race to get everything organised!  We had a great time with my parents, but I hope they weren't too bored!  They helped me out at work a lot!  I hope their looong trip back to NZ goes smoothly.

This week at Little Miss Muffet stamps we are showcasing a new Sugar n' Spice Dolls cutie called Saffron.  She is actually a FREEBIE, so if you head over here you can find out how to get her!  We have some very talented guests this week too, so head over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out all the fabulous creations from the team!  And don't forget we have an Anything Goes and be a follower challenge running at the moment as well as a DT call!

Here's my card:

I have coloured Saffron with copics (see details below) and followed the current sketch at Sketch Saturday.  The papers are from Crate Paper as are the border stickers in the background.  The brads are from the Stella and Rose collection from My Minds Eye.  The sentiment is made with Doodlebug rubons.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Kala Christouyenna/Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas or Kala Christouyenna if you are in Greece!  I wish everyone a wonderful Christmas full of fun and laughter and love and celebration with friends and family!

Well Mum and I have spent all day baking and prepping for our Christmas meal tomorrow and hopefully we will hardly have to do anything at all tomorrow other than unwrap prezzies and drink coffee and eat lovely Christmas baking!  Maybe if I'm really lucky I will get to sneak away and play in my craft room when everyone else is napping : )

Anyway, here's one more Christmas card to share with you... 'cause it won't be any good posting Christmas cards on the blog after Christmas!

I just love the gorgeous Lilli Claire - Sweet Christmas Dreams from Tiddly Inks!  I am wondering if I could possibly disguise her candy cane and use her after Christmas... what do you think?

Lilli Claire is coloured with copics and I have added Glossy Accents to her candy cane and Stickles to the pom pom on her hat.

The papers are from October afternoon as is the sticker.  The snowflakes are from Make it Crafty.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the charm is from Telfords Direct.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
2 Sisters Challenge blog #71: Snowflakes
Crafty Calendar Challenge: Cold and Frosty
Di's Digi Design Challenge: Show us Christmas

Anything Goes and DT Call and freebie at Little Miss Muffet Stamps!

Good morning!  Only 3 more sleeps 'til Christmas!  Wooppeeee!  I don't know why I get so excited about Christmas, but I just love finding the right gifts for people... I just hope they all like them!

I was planning on having a relaxing lead up to Christmas, but a spanner was thrown in the works and I now have to work on Thursday and Friday this week (I was hoping to take those days off) which means I won't be able to relax Saturday as I will have to do my food prep then for the big day!  Oh well... que sera.  I also have to cook at the boss's office on Tuesday and the shops will be closed on Monday, so will have to provision for that on Saturday as well... what a pain!

Today we have a very easy Anything Goes challenge for you at Little Miss Muffet stamps but we would like you to become a follower to enter.  Aaaaand we are having a DT call!  Barbara has a supercute freebie you can use for your DT call card if you are interested!  Head on over to the challenge blog to check out the details and of course to see the wonderful creations from my teamies!

I have made another small card today using one of the Hatter's hats...

The hat belongs to Linda Lee Hatter and I have coloured it with copics (see details below).  The fabby paper is from my favourite paper company... October Afternoon.  I have added buttons from my stash to the button card.  The wooden button is from Crate Paper.   The butterfly is from October afternoon and the sentiment tag is cut with my Slice machine.  The sentiment itself is an SRM sticker.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Bearly Mine Challenges #26: Anything Goes
Everybody Art Challenges #123: Anything Goes
Try it On Tuesday: Anything Goes

Hope you can join us for the Anything Goes challenge and of course the DT call!

Genius

Hello!  Wow!  Two posts in a two days! That seems to be a record for me at the moment!  It's like that at this time of the year though isn't it?

I just popped in to share a card I made using the Tiddly Inks image Genius.

Isn't he gorgeous?! I used a sketch from Deconstructing Jen to base the card layout on.  Here is it here.  The blue paper are from October Afternoon and the kraft paper is from My Mind's Eye (I think).  I have added felt stars from The Craft Barn and sentiment alpha stickers from my local craft store in NZ.  Did you know G9 is txt shorthand for Genius (and also goodnight apparently).

Here's a close-up of him:

Pollycraft Monday Challenge #121

Good morning!  We Pollycraft girls are finally back with a new challenge after our four week break!  You would not believe the number of entries we had into the big four week Christmas Fun challenge!  Over 640 wonderful entries!   I've about worn my keyboard out commenting!

The four lucky winners will be announced on the Pollycraft blog soon, but in the meantime, our challenge to you for this week (from the lovely Sheena) is to Punch It!  Head over to the Pollycraft Monday Challenge blog for some wonderful inspiration from my teamies and to find out the details!

I haven't quite finished making Christmas cards yet, to I used the opportunity to get one more done...

Firstly, I must apologise for the dark pictures... There's no sunshine here at the moment!  I feel quite put out!  I wouldn't mind so much if we had some lovely white fluffy snow, but there's no chance of that for a while yet.

To tell you the truth, punches are not really my thing... I find them a bit bulky and awkward and so I never buy them.  I do have a circle punch though which I recently purchased to make my Snowman Poop gifts (another story) for Christmas, so I used it for the sentiment.  The flourishes are cut with my Slice machine, but I guess if you closed one eye and squinted you could think they were punched.

This image is one of the adorable new Swings and Slides Merry Christmas images called Happy Mail.  Did you know that right now you can get all 28 of the Swings and Slides digis for just £8.99 in the shop?!  That is such a good deal!

The papers I have used are from October Afternoon.  I have coloured the image with copics and added lots of Stickles.  The sentiment stamp is from LOTV as are the postmark stamps.  The crystals are by Prima.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Dream Valley Challenges #22: Christmas
Gingerloft Challenge #30: Christmas and Winter
One Stitch at a Time #93: Anything Goes
Catch the Bug: Baby it's cold outside
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge #51: Anything Goes for Christmas

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas

Good morning!  I am scheduling this post, so hopefully it works okay... as if flights work out, I should be sight seeing in Budapest right now.

I would so love to have a white Christmas, but sadly since the weather here has been so warm lately I really don't think it's going to happen this year.   So, can you guess what the challenge theme this week at Tiddly Inks is?  Yep... it's White Christmas.

Head over to the Tiddly Inks blog and check out the amazing creations from my teamies!

For my card, I used Lilli Claire Warm Wishes.  I have been itching to colour her in for ages now!

I have coloured Lilli Claire with copics (see details below) and added Stardust Stickles to her muff, ear muffs and the fur on her coat and Silver Stickles to her snowflake earrings.  I have added Icicle Stickles to the ground for snow.  The papers are from Crate Paper and October Afternoon and the doily is from the supermarket.  The buttons are from Doodlebug Designs and the chipboard snowflakes are from Make it Crafty.

The sketch I have used is from I{heart}2stamp.

I would like to enter this card into:
2 Sisters Challenge #69: Christmas
Crafty Calendar Challenge: Cold and Frosty
My Sheri Crafts #75: Let it Snow

Here are the copics I used:

I have entered all 12 of the I{heart}2stamp monthly challenges this year and here are my posts:

Just call me Princess!

Hello!  I must apologise for my sporadic posting lately... I'm just finding that getting organised for Christmas is getting on top of me... that and having my parents visiting at the moment.  It would be awfully anti-social of me to head off to my craft room after work every day!

Tomorrow we are off to Budapest for a few days... I'm really looking forward to it.  I hear it is a very beautiful city.

I have another bookmark to share today... this one using Everyday Princess from Tiddly Inks.   Don't forget there's still time to enter our Ooh La La Sexy card challenge at Tiddly Inks!

This image makes me smile.  I work with three boys on the boat and no other girls... when they want something they sometimes call me Princess or The Princess.  I rather like it!  I think I'll keep this bookmark for myself.

The paper I have used is from Crate Paper.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.  I have coloured the Everyday Princess with copics.

I would like to enter this bookmark into the following challenges:
Our Creative Corner: All Ruffled Up
Wee Memories: Anything Goes
Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge #112: Anything Goes

Have a lovely rest of the weekend!  I'll be back at the end of the week next week!

Good morning!  It's time for a new challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps!  We know you are all super busy at the moment since it's only 17 more sleep until Christmas, so we have an easy one for you this round...

Buttons and Ribbons

Super easy right? Head over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenges and Releases blog to check out my teamies fab creations.

I decided to make a bookmark for this one...

I was totally inspired by one of Leah Ann's cards and I had to hunt up the poem she used...  It is by Jenny Joseph... you can read it here.  It reminds me a lot of my Granny... she loved purple!

I have put the first verse of the poem on the back and the last verse on the front of the bookmark.

I will be back to enter this bookmark into challenges.., got to run right now.  Okay, I'm back!

The paper I used for this bookmark is from Crate Paper, the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl, the button is from Blooming Felt and I have coloured the hat with copics (see details below).

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Pollycraft Monday challenge 120 Mid-way reminder!

Good morning!   It's Pollycraft Monday again!  But we don't have a new challenge for you this week as we have a four week long challenge running at the moment with four fabulous prizes!  The challenge theme is Christmas Fun!  How easy is that?!

I made a midway reminder card using the brand new Swings and Slides Merry Christmas - Snowballs...

The papers are a mixture from Crate Paper (I think) and another brand.  The felt tree is new to me from The Craft Barn and very cool I must say.  I have added Stickles to the branches for snow.  The sentiment is a rub on from Pebbles.  The wee snowflake is the waste from a chipboard snowflake from Make it Crafty... I just cut around it in a hexagon shape. Waste not want not I say : )
