Anything Goes at Little Miss Muffet Stamps

Hi there!  I hope everyone is having a great week!  We had a fine day today (not a common occurrence in Auckland in winter) and I was hoping to get lots of washing done, however my washing machine fizzled out on the second load... doh.  Thankfully my amazing husband fixed it this evening when he came home from work...  something to do with the drain pump I think.  I'm so relieved... the poor machine lives to wash another day!   I bet it just can't wait to wash the load of dirty nappies I have waiting for it!

Anyway, enough of my domestic lows and highs... I have another card to share today that I made for the current challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps which is Anything Goes.  I used Summer Monkey for my card today which is an oldie but a goodie from Barbara.  On a side note, have you seen how many amazing stamps there are in the LMM store now?  I was blown away when I had a look just now. Admittedly it has been a while since I looked, but there are just so many to choose from!

Here's my card:

Anyway, off to bed early for me... I feel so exhausted lately!  It could be because our little miss has suddenly started waking up really early, or it could be my pregnancy rhinitis keeping me awake at night or it could just be that general difficulty sleeping while pregnant thing... who knows?!  Hopefully a few early nights will cure it though.

Ciao!

Pssst.... did you hear?

Hiya Peoples!  I'm so sorry for my very sporadic posting... I actually have some news!   My husband and I are expecting our very first baby in March next year and things are going to a little bit hectic for us for a while.

As well as the normal pregnancy hormones that have completely stolen my mojo, we are also pretty busy with work and will be until we finish up here in Greece in November.   Then we have to find a way to move our stuff back to NZ, buy a house in NZ, cars, baby stuff and find a job for my husband all before March!  It's a bit of a stressful but happy time for us.

So now you know... that's why I haven't been posting!  I'm finishing up on all my design teams now or shortly and will likely continue to only post sporadically for a while as my life takes a new direction.  I'll definitely update with some baby pictures in March though!

So... once again I don't have a card to share for Little Miss Muffet Stamps today, but I did want to let you know that there is an awesome new release over on the challenge blog today as well as a fabulous freebie in honour of Zoe from Make it Crafty's birthday!  Pop on over and check out what all the excitement is about!

I'll be back next week with some Some Odd Girl stuff!

Ciao!

Birthday Bunny

Hiya, it's a late post from me... I was meant to post this this morning but I ran out of time... sorry!  We have a new challenge that started today at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and our challenge is 'Writing'!  We would like you to use a book page or some dp with text or script on it.  For my card today I decided to use my rubber stamp version of Birthday Bunny:

The papers I used are from October Afternoon and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.  The charm is from my stash and the sentiment is from LOTV.   I coloured Birthday Bunny with copics.

Here's a close-up:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Monsters and yachts

Hiya!  Sorry for my radio silence lately!  We are in the middle of our busiest month of the year, with guests on board travelling around the Aegean.  We haven't had great internet reception so far, so it has been too hard to post anything.

I have a Little Miss Muffet monster to share with you today.  This cute little guy was recently made available as a rubber stamp and I am so happy he is as he is the reason I fell in love with LMM stamps in the first place!

Did you know we have a challenge running at the moment? It's to use scallops on your projects... Easy right?!  And the sale finishes tomorrow, so get in quick!

Isn't he cute?!  I have coloured him with copics in bubblegum colours... grape and blueberry... yum!  I added googly eyes and a little sparkle to his flower.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl, the button is by Doodlebug, and the charm is from my stash.  The sentiment stamp is a little extra that comes with Monster Love

Here's a close-up:
And here are the copics I used:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Good morning!  It's an exciting day at Little Miss Muffet Stamps today as we have eight lovely red rubber cling mounted rubber stamps being released! The monsters in particular are some of my favourite LMM images and they're the ones that made me fall in love with Little Miss Muffet stamps in the first place, so I'm super excited that they are now available in rubber!

If you are a digi fan then you had better get your skates on and snap up these guys before they retire this Sunday at midnight US Central time!

Butterfly Kisses

Good morning!  It's a lovely day today!  We have a bonus weekend off this weekend (unheard of in the summer) and we saved our day off during the week so we could have a long weekend!  Yay!  My husband and I are off to Santorini for a mini vacation.  I really hope the hotel is nice... I'm always so disappointed with the Greek hotels...

Anyway, I have a simple card to share with you today using the Little Miss Muffet rubber stamp, Butterfly Kisses:

You probably can't tell, but I actually stamped her with a dark brown (sepia toned) ink instead of my usual black for a slightly softer look.  The extra butterflies come with this image.  She is coloured with copics and the papers are a mixture from my scrap stash.   The sentiment is a sticker from SRM and the corner embellies are from Make it Crafty.  I followed this weeks sketch at Feeling Sketchy:

Here's a close-up:

Copic colours used to be updated later...

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Feeling Sketchy: Week 15 sketch
Make it Monday: Linky Party

That's it from me today!  Don't forget to check out my teamies' fabulous creations for our new challenge that started today (Circles) on the challenge blog!

A bit of yellow and blue

Good morning!  It's Monday!  We almost had a weekend off work this last weekend, but then the boss changed his mind...  Not to worry though, it was an easy trip with easy guests and good weather... the kind we like!

Today I have another Wilma Kay Hatter card to share with you.  I quite like how this one turned out.  I think I prefer the bolder colour schemes on my cards as opposed to pastels...

The papers are from my stash and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.  The pearl drop is by Tim Holtz and the sentiment is a rubon from Pebbles.  The lovely Wilma Kay Hatter is available as a rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet stamps.

Here's a close-up of Wilma Kay Hatter:

I forgot my notebook again, so I will update the copic colours this evening if I remember.

UPDATE:
Skin: E50, E51, E53, V20 and R20
Hair: E21, E23, E27
Red: R25, RV29, E27
Blue: BG000, BG01, BG05, BG07 and BG72 over the top

Okay, that's it from me for now.  I had better go and do some work!

Little Miss Muffet Stamps Challenge #15 Outside the Diecut

It's Thursday and it's time for a new challenge at Little Miss Muffet stamps!  We had lots of great entries into the Summer challenge (it must have been too easy!).   This fortnight the challenge is a little bit more challenging... it is  'Outside the Diecut' so use a diecut but have a portion of the image spill out of the frame.  If that sounds tricky, have a look at this tutorial on how to get your image outside the diecut to get your started.

Head on over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog to check out all the fabulous inspiration from the Design Team!

Here's my card using Adela and Dida:

Hang with me...

It's Sunday and I can't believe how fast our weekend has gone by!  I didn't get any card making done yesterday as we went shopping and then for a drive to Marathon instead.  Hopefully I will remedy that today.

Here's one I made a wee while ago and didn't get around to posting yet...

This image is called Monster Balloons and is available from Little Miss Muffet stamps.  I have coloured him with copics (see details below).  The papers are from Echo Park (I think) and the ribbon is from my stash.  I have added Glossy Accents to the balloons and googly eyes to my monster.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

I have coloured Peggy Sue Hatter with copics (see details below) and used a mixture of papers...
