This week's challenge at the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog was to use lots of colour to brighten up this grey month. I thought this would be an easy one as I love colour... but my card just didn't come together for me and I'm not really happy with it, although I love the image. I think this was made earlier in the week when my mojo had deserted me, but I figure it's okay, because I made a heap of cards on the weekend that I absolutely love.
The image is called Catch my Heart from the Donna and Belinda collection at Tiddly Inks. The design paper is from Echo Park, My Mind's Eye and October Afternoon and the ribbon and lace is from The Ribbon Girl. The buttons and felt are from Blooming Felt and the sentiment is from the Amy R Summer Sentiments set.
I coloured the image with copics (see below), but I coloured the hat first in blue and didn't like it, so I went over it in purples.
