Our challenge to you this fortnight is to create a special Valentine project in plenty of time for Valentine's Day!

Head over to the Tiddly Inks challenge blog to get some fabulous inspiration from my fabulous teamies!

For my card, I decided to use Little Bear:

The papers I have used are from Crate Paper, Simple Stories, and My Mind's Eye I think.  The ribbon is from my stash and the brad is from My Mind's Eye.  The sentiment is from LOTV.  I have coloured Little Bear with copics (see details below).

These are a few of my favourite things...

Good morning all!  Can you hear me humming?  Yep, it's a bit of The Sound of Music stuck in my head after the lovely Lou picked this week's challenge theme at Pollycraft...

These are a few of my favourite things

We are sponsored this week by Crafty Emma's Store and the winner will receive a £10 voucher to spend in the store. How exciting!  Emma has some fabulous stuff there.

I tried to cram all my current favourite things onto my card this week which was no mean feat let me tell you as I used a small card base again (11cm x 11cm)!  Do pop over to the Pollycraft challenge blog and check out the fabulous projects from my teamies!

Here's what I came up with:
The image is Call Me Chester (Chester is one of my favourite Pollycraft characters).  The papers are from my favourite paper company... October Afternoon.  I have also used My Mind's Eye brads, felt stars, a flower button from Blooming Felt, a Crate Paper chipboard embellishment, a Maya Rd tag, Glossy Accents, copics, my sewing machine, a Pebbles rub-on sentiment, Tim Holtz Distress inks, The Ribbon Girl seam binding and twine, and swirly bling by Prima!

Here's a close-up of Chester:

Meet Vanilla from Little Miss Muffet Stamps

Hello!  Well, I think I spoke too soon about summer being here!  It was a miserable day today in Auckland.  We were going to take our godchildren to the zoo, but it was a grey rainy day here today, so we had to take them shopping instead!    We did end up going to 'Glow in the dark' mini golf though as well which was fun!

Anyway, today I have my second card for the New Releases from Little Miss Muffet stamps to show you.  Meet Vanilla.  As an aside, I have been finding it soooo hard to find decent vanilla essence in Greece!  They have powdered vanilla for the main part and occasionally a liquid vanilla essence that is very fake tasting to me.  I'm going to stock up while I am in NZ!

So here is my card:

Isn't she cute?!  I coloured her with copics (see details below) and I tried to mix in some yellow as highlights on the pink bunny for fun this time.  It kind of worked, but I need more practice I think at mixing in completely different colours like that.

The papers are a mix... October Afternoon (the stripes), Echo park, (the blue) and My Mind's Eye (the pink).  The yellow paper is from Pink Paisley.,  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the button is from Jane.   The sentiment is from Pollycraft.

Here is a close-up of Vanilla:

I would like to enter the following challenges:
Penny's challenges #71: Ribbons and Buttons
Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes
Whimsy Stamps #23: Pearls or Bling

New Releases at Little Miss Muffet Stamps

Hello!  Good afternoon!  We arrived in NZ yesterday and the weather has been lovely here so far!  It feels like we haven't had a proper relaxing summer in a while as we usually work our hardest over summer in Greece, so we are going to take full advantage of this one!

Now that Barbara is feeling better she has been sketching up a storm with five new releases to share with you today!  Head over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog to see all five new images or head straight to the shop to buy them!  There are two Little Misses, two Sugar n Spice dolls and one Animal Friends image.

I have used the two adorable new Sugar n Spice dolls for my cards, and I will show you one today and one tomorrow...

So, for today's card, meet Jasmine:

Isn't she cute?    The three papers I have used are from Simple Stories, Echo Park (I think the yellow one is or it could be October Afternoon) and Pink Paisley.  The crystals are by Prima and the sentiment tag is from Maya Rd.  The sentiment stamp is from Pollycraft and the lace is from The Ribbon Girl.  The flower is from Sew Sweet and the brad is from My Mind's Eye.

Here's a close-up of Jasmine:

And here are the copics I used:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes
Stamp and Create: Anything Goes
Stamp n Doodle: Include an Animal

See you back tomorrow for my second card!

Tiddly Tuesday!

Good morning!  I'm still in transit I hope.... by this stage we should be in a Singapore airport hotel sleeping through our 14 hour stopover before we get on a plane to NZ.

I know it's not a challenge day at Tiddly Inks today because we switched to fortnightly challenges.  That means you still have one week to get your entry into our colour challenge.  Go on... challenge yourself!

Here's some Tiddly loveliness to share with you today:

This little guy is the adorable Little Monkey from Christy's December release.  Isn't he cute?!  I have coloured him with copics (see details below).  The papers are from Crate Paper and October Afternoon.  The seam binding is from The Ribbon Girl and the swirly bling is by Prima.  The ticket stamp is from Maya Rd and the sentiment stamp is from Pollycraft.

I have followed the January sketch for you to try at I{heart}2stamp:

I managed to do all twelve sketches last year... this year I hope I can do the same!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
I{heart}2Stamp: January SFYTT

Pollycraft Monday - Warm it up!

Good morning!  Is anyone else feeling a bit of a chill in the air lately?  We definitely are here in Greece, but I can't complain... it really has been quite a mild winter so far.   Anyway, right about now I'm at the airport about to check in for my flight to Auckland where it will hopefully be warm and sunny!  (it had better be because I tried to pack light and only summer clothes made it into my bag!... ah well, I suppose I could force myself to look around the shops : ) )

So, today we have a new challenge at Pollycraft set by the lovely Mary J and it is

 'Warm it Up'

We would like to see warm colours, or warm feelings or anything that makes you feel warm on your creations.  Our sponsor this week is The Crimson Cloud who are are offering three packets of die cuts to the winner. Woohoo!
Head on over the the Pollycraft Monday challenge blog to check out my teamies fabulous creations!

For my card today, I decided to use the ever so cute Swings and Slides Lil Kitty:

I tried to use just warm colours, but I see a little bit of blue/green just snuck in there!  Lil Kitty is coloured with copics (see details below).  The papers are from Simple Stories and Crate Paper and the felt rose is from Sew Sweet.  The birdcage charm is from Da Wanda.  The tag is from Maya Rd.  The card is quite small (11cm x 11cm) so I had to keep it fairly simple.

Here's a close-up of Lil Kitty:

And here are the copics I used:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Dream Valley Challenges #24: Animals (there is a bird on my card as well as the Lil Kitty hat)
Crafty Purple Frog: Anything Goes

That's it from me for now.  If you have wondered why I have been pretty quiet lately it's because I won't be taking any crafting gear with me on holiday, so I have been very busy trying to make all my DT cards for February before we leave...  Busy busy!

We hope you can join us for the challenge!

Blues and Creams at Little Miss Muffet Stamps

Good morning!  Well it's probably not so much for me... I have scheduled this post as I found out last minute that I have to cater for an office meeting for the boss for lunch today.  Yikes!  I hate cooking in an unfamiliar environment!

The menu:
Nibbles: leek and brie pastries and mini chicken cakes with hoisin sauce
Starter: Thai fish cakes with Asian style salad
Main: Caramelized chilli pork served with coconut rice, baked honey garlic butternut and roasted asparagus
Dessert: Individual pavlovas with pastry cream, cream and strawberries

Our challenge this fortnight at Little Miss Muffet Stamps is Blues and Creams!  A tough one right?  Actually it wasn't so bad at all and I quite liked how my card turned out...

This is another small card... 11cm x 11cm... I have been making quite a few of them lately to give as a gift.  The image is Linda Lee Hatter (I do so love Barbara's Hatter Girls) and I have coloured her with copics (see details below).  The papers are from My Mind's Eye, the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the tag is from Maya Road.  The sentiment stamp is from Pollycraft.

So, what do you think?  Want to join us this week?  If you are not convinced yet, head over to the challenge blog and check out the fabulous creations from my teamies!  On another note, we are all super pleased to have our fearless leader back with us and feeling a tad better, and let me tell you... she has been creating up a storm and there are some exciting things up her sleeves!  But all will be revealed in February...  just make sure you don't miss out on the excitement!

Here is a close-up of Linda Lee Hatter.

And here are the copics I used:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Whimsical Wednesday: Anything Goes

Tiddly Tuesday - Colour Challenge

Good morning!  It's Tiddly Tuesday!  We had some gorgeous entries into our Celebration challenge!  This week we have a brand new two week challenge for you!  It's a tough one though... it's a colour challenge!

Here are the colours we would like you to use:

Of course you can use other skin and hair colours, but we would like the rest of your creation to be limited to these colours if possible.  Head on over to the challenge blog and check out the fabulous projects from my teamies!

I must admit I struggled with this one!  It's not a colour combo I'm used to using as I am really not very fond of this colour green, but here's what I came up with...
This little cutie is Lilli Claire - Did you Hear? and I have coloured her with copics (see details below).  I have kept the card fairly simple as my image was quite large.  The papers are from Crate Paper and Echo Park and the clip and film strip are by Tim Holtz.  The tag is from Maya Rd and the sentiment stamp is from Amy R Summer Sentiments.

Here's a close up of Lilli Claire:
And here are the copics I used:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Crafty Cardmakers Challenge #59: No Floral Embellishments
iCopic Lover Weekly Challenge #65: Unloved colours
