Little Miss Muffet Stamps Challenge #19

It's one of those Thursdays again where we have a new challenge for you to try at Little Miss Muffet stamps!  This week our theme is Animals and Monsters.  It's an easy one!  Head on over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenges blog to check out the fabulous projects from the DT.

I so love Barbara's Monsters, but this week I decided to go with Birthday Bunny from the Snuggly Giftables collection...

I'm not 100% sure where the papers are from, but I think it's a probably a safe bet to say October Afternoon and maybe My Mind's Eye.  The seam binding is from The Ribbon girl and the charm is also from The Ribbon Girl.  I have coloured Birthday Bunny with copics and added Glossy Accents to the balloons.  The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Sketch Saturday #174: Sketch
The House that Stamps Built DCC928: Animals
Scrapalicious USA: Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes

Karber Digital - Computer Leo

Hello... did you miss me?  We were moving Monday and Tuesday this week and now that we are in our new apartment we have no internet.  Since this is Greece and it's going to take some time to get our contract transferred.

Anyway... to cut a long story short, here is my very late card for Karber Digital this week...

This gorgeously geeky wee boy is Computer Leo and this card is for a Computer Geek friend of ours.  The papers are from October Afternoon (as are the sentiment stickers).  I have coloured Leo with copics (see details below) and added Glossy Accents to his glasses.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Sketch Saturday #174: Sketch
Digistamps 4 joy #28: Anything Goes
Ruby's Rainbow #13: For the boys

Pollycraft Monday Challenge #112

Good morning all!  Another week, another Monday... they just keep coming!

This week it was my turn to choose the challenge theme and I decided to go with

Tags and Bookmarks

Our sponsor this week is The Crimson Cloud and they are offering the lucky winner 3 diecut packs of the winner's choice.

I decided to make a bookmark for the challenge as I made some last Christmas for gifts for friends and they seemed to be a hit, so I thought I would start making some more for this Christmas.

I know the orientation is a bit different from most other people's bookmarks made in this style, but I like to have my image lined up with the book...  it must be the 'Squary' in me...

Isn't Gorgeous the perfect image for a bookmark?  He looks so bookish with his big eye and monoglass!  I have coloured Gorgeous with copics and kept the bookmark simple as I think it will be for a guy.  I have added Glossy Accents to the monoglass.  The paper is from October Afternoon and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.

Head on over to the Pollycraft Monday challenge blog and check out what the others have made for this week's inspiration!

I would like to enter this bookmark into the following challenges:
Paper Sundaes #88:  Anything Goes
The Squirrel and the Fox #1: Anything Goes

Here are the copics I used:

Happy Monday!  If everything is going well, my apartment will currently be full of people packing and disassembling furniture right now, and this time tomorrow I will be unpacking in our new apartment!  Woohoo!

Have a lovely day!

Is it a magazine or is it a clutch?

Hello!  I've had a long and busy day packing up all our stuff ready for the move on Monday (my husband has conveniently left town for the weekend on a business trip), so no cards to show today, but I do have a new clutch that I am totally in love with that I wanted to share some pictures of...

Cute huh?  Now I just need an occasion to use it!

Ciao!

New Releases at Little Miss Muffet Stamps

Happy Thursday!  One more day until the weekend... yay!  We are not working this weekend which is great as we are planning on packing up all our stuff ready to move house on Monday.  I can't wait!  The commute to and from work at the moment makes me really grumpy.

It is time for more new releases from Little Miss Muffet stamps and today we have a Little Miss - Megan and a Snuggly Giftable - Harvest Swan to show you.    Head on over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog to check out the beautiful projects from the DT.

I decided to use Megan for my card today...

The papers I have used are from October Afternoon and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.   I think the charm may be from The Ribbon Girl as well.  I have coloured Megan with copics (see below) and added Stickles to her dandelion.  I crocheted the flower myself.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

There's a rocket in my pocket!

Have you every heard that poem?  I was in a kid's book I used to love as a child and I have never forgotten it (even though it is completely irrelevant to me since I am not American)...  It goes something like this...

There's a rocket in my pocket
I cannot stop to play
Away it goes
I've burn't my toes
It's Independence Day!

Anyway, that's how I feel at the moment... a little bit stressed, a little bit behind and like I just don't have time to thnk!

So yesterday was Karber Digital day and I have a card, but I wanted to fix the photograph as I accidentally took it on the wrong resolution setting and it looked bad.

For today's card I decided to use Coffee Leslie.  I think Leslie is one of my favourite Karber characters.

The papers I used are from October Afternoon and Crate Paper and the journalling tag is from Maya Road.  The flower I crocheted.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and I inked the edges of the pic with Distress Inks in Walnut.  I added Glossy Accents to her glasses.  I do so love my Glossy Accents!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Kaboodle Doodles #85: Lots of Layers
Incy Wincy Designs #112: Distressing
Get Hippity with Ippity: Buttons, bows, or bling

Here's a close-up of Leslie:

And these are the copics I used:

Happy Tuesday!  I'm just about to get my make-up on and head off to the boss's house to cater for a dinner party they are having.

Ciao!

Pollycraft Monday Challenge #111 - Pearls and Swirls

Good morning all!  I hope it is a nice one... I have scheduled this post in advance as we are busy on the boat working a long weekend.

It's time for a new challenge at Pollycraft Monday and the lovely Anita has chosen this week's theme of...

Pearls and Swirls

Our sponsor this week is Crafty Emma's Store and Emma is offering the lucky winner a £10 gift voucher!   Emma has some absolutely delish papers in at the moment including the fabulous Authentique paper pads, so don't forget, you have to be in to win!

This was an easy one for me at the moment as I am currently in love with Prima's Say it with Crystals range.  I decided to use Cherry Kisses (Frames) - Rainy Days.

Now before I go any further I must apologise for the quality of my photos at the moment.  It seems I have taken them on the wrong resolution setting and I can't fix them right now because I am away, so sorry about that.

The rain drop paper is (I think) from My Mind's Eye as is the Umbrella card.  The blingy swirls and pearls are from Prima and the flower I crocheted myself.  The wee umbrella charm is from DaWanda (I will update this with the seller tomorrow), the seam binding is from the ribbon girl and the tag is by Maya Road.   The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Card and Scrap #16: Charms
Creatalicious Challenges #26: Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday #182: Anything Goes

These are the copics I used:

If you haven't already, do please head over to the Pollycraft Monday challenge blog and check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the DT!

Challenge #18 at Little Miss Muffet Stamps - Things with Wings

Good morning!  It's Thursday and time for a new challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps!  This week we have a theme of Things with Wings... Simples!

I decided to use the very sweet Bailey from the Little Misses collection...

I have coloured Bailey with copics (see details below) and inked the edges with Distress inks.  I added some grass with YG11, YG13 and YG17.  I crocheted the flower and cut the leaf from felt and added Stickles to it.  The butterfly is a chipboard embellishment from Maya Road and the tag is also from Maya Road.  The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.  The papers are from Echo Park and October Afternoon.  I cut the clouds with my Slice machine, inked the edges and then used an embossing tool to puff them up a bit.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #127: Photo inspiration
Flutterby Wednesday #171: Anything Goes (must include a butterfly, fairy or angel)
Papercraft Star #62: Anything Goes

Oh my goodness!  Oh my goodness!  Oh my goodness!  Today, the lovely ladies over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog are doing a special feature called a Wow Ya Wednesday on little old me!  Can you believe it?  I'm so excited and so so chuffed that they like my cards!  I have been a loooong time admirer of Christy's gorgeous images... she has something for everyone!

Thank you so much Tiddly Inkers for featuring me!

Here is the card I made for the feature using Priscilla:

I love the new Steampunk images Christy drew to co-ordinate with the new Steampunk backgrounds from Make it Crafty

Karber Digital Silhouettes...

Yikes... I'm late for my Karber Digital post!  Today I have a different kind of image from Karber Digital to share with you... a silhouette.

Isn't this little girl gorgeous?!  It's amazing how much detail is shown with just with a silhouette!  I thought this stamp would be so versatile!  You could print it in a different colour (like a light blue or a brown or something) for a softer look too.

The papers are from Prima (I think) and the flower shapes I cut with my Slice machine.  I coloured the yellow around the little girl with copics (Y00, Y11, Y15 and Y17).  The seam binding is from The Ribbon Girl and the swirly bling is by Prima.  I have inked the edges of the image with Distress inks in various shades of blue.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Crafty Boots Challenges #1: Anything Goes
Crafting When we Can #1: Do it your own way
I Did it Creations #72: Anything Goes (they are offering a FREEBIE to use in this challenge)
Allsorts Challenge #120: Flowers and swirls
Catch the Bug Challenge: Diecuts and punches

Well that's all from me... Pop over to the Karber Digital blog and check out the cuteness from the rest of the Design Team!

Pollycraft Monday is back! Challenge #110!

Hello!  Did you miss the Pollycraft Monday challenge last week?  It was the perfect time to have a week off for us girls though I think... Everyone has been so busy lately.

We're back this week with a great new challenge by DT member Kylie...  She has chosen Baby Love as the theme!  Our sponsor this week is My Mum's Craft Shop and they are offering a £10 voucher to the winner!  But don't forget... you've got to be in to win!

I decided to use Little Stars - Moon Lullaby for this challenge:

The papers are from October Afternoon and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.  I have coloured this sweet image with copics (see details below) and was inspired by one of Amy's mermaid body tutorials to colour the moon with a mixture of yellows and blues and add craters.  The little charm is from my local craft shop in NZ and I cut the cloud shaped using my Slice machine.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Catch the Bug Challenge Blog: Let's Get Punchy (Punches or Die cuts)
Just Some Lines: Saturday Challenge - New Baby
My Sheri Crafts Challenge #68: Special Delivery
