Polka dots and stripes!

I got some time to play on the weekend... I spread myself out in the guest salon at the coffee table and did everything really really slowly and carefully so that I wouldn't leave any trace of ever having crafted there... not ideal, but it worked.  Here is a card I made for the current Bugaboo challenge at the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog... polka dots and stripes:

The image is from Bugaboo and is coloured with copics (see below for details).  The papers are from October Afternoon and Bo Bunny.  The sentiment stickers are some I purchased recently from my favourite local craft store while I was home in NZ... not sure what the brand is though.  The tag is cut with the Making Memories Slice machine.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.

The card is quite small (about 10cm x 10cm) which is great for a boy card as then you don't have to write as much!  I get all my card bases from Telfords Direct in the UK and I have to say they have the best quality solid card bases and they even shipped to NZ while I was home!!!  I really think a good quality card base transforms a card from just homemade to something fabulously homemade that you wouldn't mind paying for...    I just wish I had my sewing machine here!

Here are the copics I used:

Oh My Gosh! How flippin cute is this? I love this and isn't it always amazing how many Copic colors we can use on just one image? Great job and thanks for playing along with us at Bugaboo this week.
