I'm back! Today is the start of a new challenge at the Little Miss Muffet Challenges and Releases blog... Diecuts or punches. I was so excited to be home in NZ and finally have a chance to try out my Spellbinders Nesties that I ordered a year ago! We had some fabulous entries into the last challenge (Glitter and Shine) so break out your diecut machines or punches and inspire us some more! Plus, if you make a card for the challenge using one of Barbara's fabulous Little Miss Muffet stamps you can enter the awesome blog candy on offer.
I hope you get a chance to join us for this challenge!
Here is a little bit of inspiration for you:
This is Monster Love (one of my favourites of Barbara's monsters). The papers are from Crate Paper from an awesome kit I recently purchased from The Craft's Meow. I coloured Monster Love with copics (see below) and cut him out with Spellbinders using my Cuttlebug. I inked the background with Memento Rhubarb and a paint brush while Mr Love was still in the frame.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Party Time Tuesdays PTT13: Anything Goes
House of Gilli: Layers and Stitching
Make it Monday: Anything Goes
Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central: Anything Goes
The Outlawz Greeting Challenge: Anything Goes and a sentiment
Here are the copics I used:

awww... this is darling. gorgeous coloring as always. fab card!
Stunning! Your stitching and colouring is fabulous. hugs Donna x
He's adorable! Love the card layout and the stitching. How messy did the stenciling end up on the metal dies? That's the main reason I haven't ventured that yet but I love the effect! :D
Love how the background worked out. This is one of my favorites too... I love how the little eyes really bring him to life.
Hi Barbara,
The stenciling wasn't messy at all! I have used two different methods... in this one I used a big fat paint brush and brushed off most of the ink on scrap paper before brushing over the diecut in the frame and in other ones I use a piece of foam and again rub off most of the ink before using it.

Wow, this is such an awesome buy/guy card. Love the eyes.
Thanks for joining us at House of Gilli.
