Red, Orange and Yellow Challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps!

We had some lovely entries for the Numbers Challenge at Little Miss Muffet stamps and now it's time for a new challenge!  This fortnight it is reds, oranges and yellows... the warm colours... quite a tough one I thought!

I decided to use one of Barbara's monsters for my card... this one called Monster Bubbles is one of my favourites...

The papers are from October Afternoon, Cosmo Cricket and Echo Park and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.  I have used a sentiment stamp from The Greeting Farm and added Glossy Accents to the bubble gum.  Monster Bubbles is coloured with copics (see details below).

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Scrapbook sisters - Anything goes
Digital Tuesday Challenges - Favourite Ice Cream colours (raspberry, mango and lemon sorbet)
Everybody Art Challenges - Anything goes
Ladybug Crafts Ink Challenges - Use red
Happileigh Scrappin Challenge - Use bright colours
Hooked on Craft Challenges - Anything goes
Scrappy Frogs Challenges - Use red

These are the copic colours I used:

It's challenge day at Little Miss Muffet stamps!

Good day folks!  This is going to be a quick one... I will come back later and update it!  There is a new two week challenge starting today at Little Miss Muffet stamps!  The challenge this fortnight is to add metal embellishments to your project.  I chose to use Cocoa again (I think she must be a favourite) and kept my card pretty simple.

Here she is:

I think Cocoa really suits red toned colours for some reason!  The papers are from Crate Paper and someone else and the ribbon is from my stash.  I cut the panel behind Cocoa with Spellbinders Nesties on the Cuttlebug.  The metal butterfly embellishment is from my local craft shop in NZ.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Crafting for All Seasons - Anything goes
The Paper Shelter - Anything Goes
Creative Card Crew - Anything Goes

I coloured Cocoa with copics:

Do pop over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog to get some inspiration for this weeks challenge from the rest of the design team!  We would love to have you join in!

Diecuts or punches!

I'm back!  Today is the start of a new challenge at the Little Miss Muffet Challenges and Releases blog... Diecuts or punches.  I was so excited to be home in NZ and finally have a chance to try out my Spellbinders Nesties that I ordered a year ago!  We had some fabulous entries into the last challenge (Glitter and Shine) so break out your diecut machines or punches and inspire us some more!  Plus, if you make a card for the challenge using one of Barbara's fabulous Little Miss Muffet stamps you can enter the awesome blog candy on offer.

I hope you get a chance to join us for this challenge!

Here is a little bit of inspiration for you:

This is Monster Love (one of my favourites of Barbara's monsters).  The papers are from Crate Paper from an awesome kit I recently purchased from The Craft's Meow.  I coloured Monster Love with copics (see below) and cut him out with Spellbinders using my Cuttlebug.  I inked the background with Memento Rhubarb and a paint brush while Mr Love was still in the frame.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
House of Gilli: Layers and Stitching
Make it Monday:  Anything Goes
The Outlawz Greeting Challenge: Anything Goes and a sentiment

Glitter and Shine!

The next challenge at Little Miss Muffet stamps (starting today and running for two weeks) is to make a card using Glitter and Shine!  This is a challenge after my own heart as I almost always add Glossy Accents to my cards and often Stickles too.

This week I chose to use one of Barbara's monsters.   This one is called Monster Mission and he is available at the Little Miss Muffet Stamps shop.  I decided to make a shaker card.

Here is my card:

I have coated the rocket in Glossy Accents and added Stickles to the rocket flames and around the shape of the moon.  The beads inside the shaker card also have a bit of a sparkle.

The papers and sentiment stickers are from October Afternoon and I have coloured the image with copics (see below for details).

We would love you to enter the challenge this week.  There were some fabulous entries to the stitching challenge last week!  It would be great to see more of Barbara's stamps in the challenges though... they are so much fun to colour!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Amber's Crafts and Stuff - Favourite Things (for me: Glossy Accents, Stickles and copics)
A Spoonful of Sugar - All Creatures Great and Small (I hope a monster qualifies as an animal!)
Anita Be Stampin - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly Challenges - Use Dimension (I have the image popped up as well as the main part of the card for the shaker beads)

New Challenge (#6) at Little Miss Muffet!

Wow, I'm so excited!  Today marks my first official job as a DT member for Little Miss Muffet Stamps!  There is a new challenge starting today at the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog.  The challenge is to include Stitching (Real or Faux) on your cards.  That should be an easy one for everyone, so hop to it and get your card in!  If you need some lovely new images to inspire you, head over to the Little Miss Muffets Stamps store and pick up some digis!  From one shopper to another, there is nothing like digi shopping for instant gratification : ) - you buy, you download, you print, you colour!

Now normally I would use my sewing machine to add stitching to my cards as I do that for nearly all my cards anyway, but since we are not in Greece at the moment and I wasn't allowed to bring the sewing machine along, I decided to do some simple hand stitching.

Here's my first card (yes, I got carried away colouring in the lovely Little Misses girls and made two cards instead of one card)...

Meet Summer Breeze, the first Little Miss that Barbara released and one of my favourites.   I have used the current Friday Sketchers (Sketch 147) layout for my card:

The papers are from October Afternoon and the flowers are from Prima.  The seam binding is from AB's stash.  I poked holes with a pin and hand stitched around with embroidery floss for framing.  The image is coloured with copics (see below).  The sentiment is from Pollycraft

And so, on to my second card:

This is Winter Winds, one of the newest of Barbara's Little Misses.  I just love her hat!   The papers are from My Mind's Eye, the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl, and the alphabet stickers are from Cosmo Cricket.   She is coloured with copics (see below).  I have poked holes and whip stitched around the image and the papers.

Just in case you are interested, here is a picture of my hole poking tool (a pin and a piece of foam packaging)... very fancy!

I would like to enter my first card into the following challenges:
Friday Sketchers - Sketch 147
Scrapbook Sisters - Challenge 29, Mother's Day
Your Next Stamp Challenges - Stitching
Tuesday Throwdown Challenges - Floral or Flowers
Stamps R Us - Celebrate Spring
Aly's Sunday Sketch - Happy Spring
Sparkles Forum - Challenge #8 Springtime

I would like to enter my second card into the following challenges:
My Partner in Crafting Crime - Three or more buttons
Sugar Creek Hollow - Stitching
Wee Memories - Anything Goes
Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog - The weather (Windy for me)

Here are the copics I used:
