I had a wonderful birthday today and I was really touched by the number of friends and family who messaged and emailed me. Thank you all - you made my day! My husband made me coffee and poached eggs and all three of the boys treated me like a princess today. I relaxed and crafted and then we went out for a great Italian pizza meal this evening... It was the perfect birthday! Oohh and I got a Kindle from my husband!
This is going to be a quick post before I head to bed... I made a card for the Pollycraft Monday challenge which was Friends. I used the new Taking a Break digi from the Swings and Slides collection.
The papers are from October Afternoon (surprise surprise) and the felt is from Blooming Felt. The sentiment is from the Pollycraft Sonny Says sentiment set and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.
These are the copics I used:
Oh, and before I go, these are the cards that my husband and Larry made for me. Aren't they sweet? They delved into my craft supplies when Phil and I were in Antibes the other day. My husband's is on the right and Larry's is on the left. They actually brought a tear to my eye!
And did you see? My dear husband coloured in the shoes like my red galley Crocs and added chocolate to the spoon and pot! I asked him if he enjoyed using my copics and he said it was really hard : ) but I think they both did pretty well for first time users!

That is simply beautiful! Both cards! Have to say that when I saw the 'kitchen Angel' I knew which card my son had made ;)
So glad you had an amazing day, you so deserve it!!!!
And, I'll try not to be jealous of your Kindle ... just joshing!!! Enjoy! Can you listen to your books? Or do you have to read them? It does make birthday presents a little easier to think of ;0
Love to you
