Little Miss Muffet Stamps - Simplicity

Good morning!  I hope it's sunny where you are... it's a bit of a grey and gloomy looking day here in Athens so far.  We have a new challenge for you starting today at Little Miss Muffet stamps and it should be an easy one (although I must admit I found it rather difficult)...

The theme is:

Simplicity (with a charm - optional)

Do head over and check out the beautiful samples from the very talented DT.

I decided to try something different for my card and stamp directly onto my cardstock with Distress Inks for the background (rather than using DP) and then add my image on foam tape.

It didn't actually turn out quite how it looked in my head, but it's okay I guess...

The houses are from a new (to me) set that just arrived in the mail from Two Peas in a Bucket.  The bicycle, sun, and the sentiment are from a Maya Road stamp set.  I have coloured Miss Linda Lee Hatter with copics and added Glossy Accents to the berries on her hat.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
(To be updated later)

Here's a close-up of Miss Linda Lee Hatter:

I hope you get a chance to join us this week!

Arabella,
You did an absolutely amazing job with your copics. I love how you colored her and the work you did on the feather is just incredible. Thanks for sharing.

Love the touch of colour in the Hatters dress band and hat topper, she is wonderful is warm grays.

I love the effect with the stamped background, it has an art journal quality about it. Fab job hon!

One layer cards are always a challenge and such a change from what are are used to. Love the houses in three colors and the contrast with the image is eye catching. *Hugs

This is a tough one given how beautifully you normally put together so many elements to make your cards. Well done on sticking to the simplicity theme so well!
