Scalloped dragon

I have a very last minute entry into the current challenge at the Catch the Bug challenge blog by Bugaboo stamps.  The challenge is to include scallops on the card.

Here is my card:

This is Clyde and he was a freebie at Bugaboo a while back.  The papers are from October Afternoon and My Minds Eye and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.  The sentiment is from the Amy R's Summer Sentiments set.

I have coloured Clyde with copics and added stickles to his belly.

Here are the copics I used:

Tomorrow morning we start the journey (by boat) up through the Corinth canal and then to Naples, Elba and finally Imperia (Italy).  Hopefully I will be able to post along the way as I have a few cards stored up ready to go.

Happy Saturday!

Toxic Candies Sweety doll

I came upon this in a US magazine - thought it was the cutest.

It's a Toxic Candies Sweety Doll , and pictured with a little friend, Licorice.

TOXIC-CANDIES
How very creative some folk are!

Country life

Our little chick is loving this country life of meeting butterflies, praying mantis, birds and flies.

Meeting a praying mantis

Meeting a butterfly (of which there seem to be hundreds flying about the garden)

The theft of 95 year old Nan's wheely walker.... quite the terror!

Gaining my own wheely walker.... much more little chick's size.

And contemplating life.

Bookie bird. (feeling dreadful about not posting more!!!)

A card for a teenager

This week's challenge at the Pollycraft Monday Challenge blog.  How handy for me since I have one tween and one young teen to make cards for before we go home for our holiday!

Here is my young teen card (she likes pink and short skirts):

This is Sonny Honeycloud Winter (which is quite appropriate as the recipient's birthday is a winter birthday) and is one of the ten digis I won from Pollycraft recently when I entered the Critters and Cogs challenge.  Pretty cool huh?!

The papers are from October Afternoon and the felt and the flower button are from Blooming Felt.  The seam binding is from The Ribbon Girl.   The sentiment is from the Sonny Says sentiment set from Pollycraft.

I coloured the image with the following copics:

Toot toot!

I'm just stopping by to announce some exciting (for me anyway) news!  I just made the design team for April May for Little Miss Muffet Stamps!  Thank you so much for choosing me Barbara and Peggy!

Barbara makes gorgeous digis (like this cow jumping over the moon)... check them out here.

And in other news, I'm on to round two for the Sweet Pea Stampoff.  If you voted for me in round one, thank you very much!  I'm working on my round two entry now... Hopefully I can get it done before the weekend as we are leaving on the boat to go to Italy, so I will be unable to do much crafting for a few days.  Voting for the next round starts March 23.

This was my round one entry:

This is one of the stamps that Angela from In My Quiet Time sent me (thank you Angela!!!).  Isn't this dryad gorgeous?!   The papers are from Bo Bunny and Cosmo Cricket and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.  I have added stickles to the peacock feathers.

These are the copics I used:

AND if that's not enough...  I just found out I won the this blog candy at In Rosie's Book!!!! Wow!  Lucky, lucky me!!!  That just made my day!

Have a lovely day!

Gnomes!

I just love the new gnomes from Pink Cat Studio!  I have coloured a few up now, but I have only made one card.  They are definitely on my list for more cards to make though!

I followed the March sketch for SFYTT at I {heart} 2 Stamp:

and rotated it...

I really love how this card turned out!

The papers are from Bo Bunny and October Afternoon and the sentiment is from the Pollycraft Sonny Honeycloud - Sonny Says set.  The ribbon and twine are from The Ribbon Girl.  I have coloured the image with copics (see below). I LOVE these gnomes!

These are the copics I used:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Kraft paper challenge

The challenge this week at the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog is to use Kraft coloured cardstock on our cards.  I'm not that fond of Kraft coloured cardstock, so this challenge was difficult for me.

Here's what I came up with:

This gorgeous wee girl is called Donna from Tiddly Inks  and I think she was the first Donna image that Christy drew.  I have mounted her on Kraft cardstock and added tiny purple staples to the framing and Hero Hues pearls.  The design papers are from Cosmo Cricket and October Afternoon and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.  Donna is coloured with copics (details below) and I have added glossy accents to her umbrella and her boots.  I really love the Donna and Belinda characters from Tiddly Inks... they are so sweet.  The sentiment is another one from the super versatile Sonny Honeycloud - Sonny Says set from Pollycraft.

Here are the copics I used:

Enjoy your Saturday evening!

Bugaboo Anything Goes

I made this card for the second to last Bugaboo challenge which had a Get Well theme, but I accidentally didn't post it in time, so I thought it would be good for the Catch the Bug Anything Goes challenge this week instead!

The papers are from October Afternoon and Cosmo Cricket and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.  Clyde Get Well (from Bugaboo) is coloured with copics (see below).  And I have added Glossy Accents to the balloon and the First Aid kit.

Happy Friday!
