A recipe for a card...

I got lots of card making done on the weekend as it was rather cold and miserable outside.   We did make it out of the house for a drive on Sunday though and stopped for a Sunday roast lunch (complete with Yorkshire puddings.. yum!) at one of our favourite Irish pubs here.  It always amazes me that there are some types eating establishments that can be found all over the world...  an Irish pub in Greece, a Chinese restaurant in Spain, and Italian restaurant right here in little old Lavrio...  It's great!

Anyway... for my card I followed a recipe from Dutch Dare Card Challenges # 97 that called for:
- 3 pattern papers
- 3 flowers
- 3 sparkles
- 1 ribbon

The papers are from Cosmo Cricket and October Afternoon, the flower buttons are from Blooming Felt and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.
The image is a digi image from The Greeting Farm Hope and Grace collection called Rain Rain.   She is coloured with copics, but I coloured her up quite a while ago and forgot to write the numbers down.  I have inked the edges with distress inks and added the puddle at her feet with my copic multiliner and shinied it up with Glossy Accents.

She's such a happy looking wee girl even though she is 'under the weather' so to speak that I thought she would be a good image for a Thinking of you card.

I also made a card for the current Farm Fresh Friday Challenge at The Greeting Farm which is 'hats off to you'... make a project with a hat in it.  I chose to use another digital image... Audrey with a baseball cap.

The papers are from Cosmo Cricket and October Afternoon and the ribbon is from April Blackbird's stash (thanks AB!)

Have a nice Monday evening
