Little Miss Muffet Stamps - Simplicity

Good morning!  I hope it's sunny where you are... it's a bit of a grey and gloomy looking day here in Athens so far.  We have a new challenge for you starting today at Little Miss Muffet stamps and it should be an easy one (although I must admit I found it rather difficult)...

The theme is:

Simplicity (with a charm - optional)

Do head over and check out the beautiful samples from the very talented DT.

I decided to try something different for my card and stamp directly onto my cardstock with Distress Inks for the background (rather than using DP) and then add my image on foam tape.

It didn't actually turn out quite how it looked in my head, but it's okay I guess...

The houses are from a new (to me) set that just arrived in the mail from Two Peas in a Bucket.  The bicycle, sun, and the sentiment are from a Maya Road stamp set.  I have coloured Miss Linda Lee Hatter with copics and added Glossy Accents to the berries on her hat.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

I hope you get a chance to join us this week!

I followed the current sketch at The Sugar Bowl:

Karber Digital cuteness!

Hello All!  It's Tuesday!  I guess you knew that already though... hopefully the week is going well for you!  I think this week has cold weather in store for us... we might actually have to turn on our heating.  BB and I are trying to learn Greek, and it was freezing at our tutor's house last night!  Next week I might have to take my slippers!  We are not getting very far with our learning yet... Greek is hard!

Today I have another cute Karber Digital image to share with you.  This one is called Car Leo and I think he's very handsome!

When I made this card, I was aiming for teal so that I could join in the current challenge at Do You Stack Up, but I'm not too sure if I hit it or not, so I made yesterday's card to enter that challenge as well.
The papers I have used are from October Afternoon, Crate Paper, Bo Bunny and maybe Echo Park????.  The button is from Crate Paper and the felt is from Blooming Felt.  The sentiment is from LOTV and the twine is from The Ribbon Girl.
I added Glossy Accents to Leo's glasses (two layers) and to the car windows (one layer).

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Do You Stack Up #44: Teal
Daisy Doodles Creative Challenges #46: Anything Goes with a digi
Heart Song Inspirations #23: Anything Goes
Incy Wincy Designs #119: Stitching

Since I used an open ended sentiment on the front of the card, I just had to finish it on the inside...

Miss Anya and some Teal

Hi it's me again!  Two posts in one day... wow!  I just wanted to share a card I made yesterday for two challenges...

I cased the card from the Farm Fresh Spy Day challenge which was actually a step card, but I didn't want to make a step card, so I just took inspiration from the layout instead.  I went for teal colours in my papers so that I could enter the Do You Stack Up Challenge as well.

The papers are from crate Paper and the seam binding ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.  The charm is from The Secret Garden on Da Wanda.  I coloured Miss Anya (from the Miss Anya Collection set) with copics, but it was ages ago and I didn't record the colours I used.  I cut the tag with my Slice machine.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Do You Stack Up #44: Teal

Pollycraft Monday #118 Cazza's Sketch

Good morning!  It's Monday again... not very long until Christmas now!

We had sooo many entries into the Anything Goes challenge last week, it was wonderful to see all your fabulous creations!  This week we have another fun challenge for you at Pollycraft.  Cazza has put together a fabulous sketch for you to try, and let me tell you, the DT have rocked this sketch... it was such a fun sketch to use!

This week's winner will receive 10 digis of their choice from Pollycraft!

For my card this week I used a really really old Pollycraft digi that I thought would be fun for a boy card...
I couldn't fit all the sentiment on the front, so I had to do the inside too...

The papers are all from a 6 x 6 paper pad from Crate Paper (I think)... The images are all from the same collection from Pollycraft.  The sentiment stickers are from Cosmo Cricket.  I Glossy Accented over the water to make it shiny and used Distress inks to make the clouds.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Dream Valley Challenges #19: Anything Goes
Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenges #68: Celebration Time
One Stitch at a Time #87: Use a digi
Opus Gluei #117: What's on your head

Here's a close up of my pirate boy:

Tiddly Fairy

Hello!  It's another beautiful Sunday here in Athens in spite of the bad weather forecast and unstable political climate. I'm having a lovely crafty day at home and will hopefully get a chance to sort through my crafting stuff, get organised and put together a couple of giveaways.

Today I have a card to share for the current challenge at Tiddly Inks which is Anything Goes.  I decided to follow this week's sketch from Sketch Saturday (I'm so so excited... I won last week's Sketch Saturday challenge!).

I have coloured Sugar Plum Fairy with copics (see details below) and added Stickles to her wings.  I have inked the edges of the card with Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass and Broken China.  The papers are from Jilly Bean Soup and October Afternoon and the seam binding ribbon is from the Ribbon Girl.  The ballet ticket sticker is from Crate Paper and the tag is from Maya Road.  The sentiment is from LOTV and the corner embellishment is from Make it Crafty.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Tiddly Inks #71: Anything Goes
Sketch Saturday #180: Sketch

Little Miss Muffet Stamps New Release - Chloe

Good morning all!  I'm back to share another new Little Miss Muffet stamps image!  Today we are showcasing Chloe and Anna Kristine Hatter over on the Little Miss Muffet Challenges blog and my teamies have outdone themselves with some gorgeous creations this week!

Also, if you didn't already hear, Barbara is having a sale in the shop this week.  If you spend $10 or more you get to choose one free digi!  And you still have one more week to enter the Cloud challenge at Little Miss Muffet stamps.  We don't have that many entries so far, so if you enter you have a good chance of winning!

Here is my card using Chloe:

I  have followed this weeks' Saturday Sketch.  The papers are from October Afternoon and for once I chose them before I coloured my image.   I added stripes to Chloe's top with a pencil so that I could bring in more colours from the spotty paper... and then I went and covered most of the spotty paper up with the image!  Oh well... c'est la vie!  I still like her stripes... I used to have a sweater that looked exactly like that!

I coloured Chloe with copics (see details below).  The brads are from Crate Paper and the buttons and flower are from my stash.  The charm is from The Secret Garden on Da Wanda and the sentiment is from LOTV.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
CCEE Stampers Challenges #1144: Use 4 different embellishments (ribbon, buttons, brads, charm)
Dutch Dare Card Challenges # 137: Give Thanks
Meljen's Designs #83: Use Brads
Simon Says Stamp Challenge : Buttons

Sweet bear

Hello!  Welcome to another lovely Wednesday morning : )  The sun is shining, the birds and singing and the rabbits are hippity hopping through the trees... Well maybe somewhere in the world... we don't see much wildlife around Athens, although we did see a scorpion in our garage the other day!  Coming from a country where such nasties don't exist it was quite exciting for me!

Anyway, I have a card to share today that I made a wee while ago using one of Cathy Fong's adorable wee bears called Mi Lovebelly.  I have had him for ages, but only just got around to colouring him up recently.

These papers are all from Webster's Pages and the ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.  The charm is from The Secret Garden on Da Wanda.  I have coloured Mi Lovebelly Bear with copics (see details below).  I cut the frame thingy with my slice machine.  The sentiment stamp is from Pollycraft.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Anything Goes Challenge blog #53: Stitches, real or faux
Digital Tuesday Challenge #135: Cute and Cuddly

Oh, I nearly forgot... my review of yesterday's chicken casserole....  well it was okay, but I thought a bit boring.  I would also leave out the celeriac in future... not my thing.

Karber Digital Christmas

Good morning!  It's a lovely bright sunny but crispy feeling autumn morning here in Athens.  We had quite a wintery weekend, but now we are back to the lovely autumn weather (probably until the next weekend).

Okay, so now it's time for another Karber Digital cutie.  This week on the Karber blog we have a new guest designer... Kelly Booth!  Do head on over and check out her gorgeous cards!

For my Karber Digital card today I decided to play with the supercute Rudolph.

How cute is he?!  I added Stickles to his hat and Glossy Accents to his nose and coloured him with copics (see details below).  The papers are mostly from Crate Paper but the circle is from My Mind's Eye.  I had such a hard time choosing papers for this card... it took forever!

I cut the banner  with my Slice and the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.  I have followed the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the charm is from Telford's Direct.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Sweet Sketch Wednesday #125:  Sketch
Cards for Men: Animals
The Cutie Pie Challenge #4: Use a charm
Lexi's Creations #52: Charming
Ooh La La Creations #92: Stitching

Here is a close up of Rudolph:

And here are the copics I used:

We are just about to sit down to lunch and try out this chicken casserole recipe I stumbled across the other day... I will let you know the verdict tomorrow.

Ciao!
