Copicendium... my first cards published!

Wow!  This has taken me ages to finally get around to posting, but I have been sooo busy it just kept getting bumped down the list of priorities...  Anyway, I just wanted to toot that I have two cards published in the Mad for Markers first Copicendium publication!  There are some ah-maaay-zing cards in this mini magazine... fabulous colouring inspiration!

Leave me a lovely comment and I will randomly choose a name to send a copy of this mini magazine to.

Here's the first card...

I am in love with these gnomes from Pink Cat Studio... they are just so cute!  The papers on this card are from October Afternoon and Crate Paper and the shapes are cut with my Slice machine.  The main sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and the Hello banner stamp is from Maya Road.  I coloured this cute wee gnome with copics (see details below).

Here is the second card:

This image is from Elisabeth Bell (coloured with copics) and the papers are from Cosmo Cricket and October Afternoon.  The shapes are cut with my Slice machine.  The sentiment is from Pollycraft.

Here are the copics I used:

Rocking and rolling...

Well we are back in the general vicinity of our home, but unfortunately we don't have a berth to go to yet, so we have to stay on anchor which means we have to stay on board and can't go home!  Very unfortunate and at the moment quite unpleasant as we are rocking and rolling around out here.  I have my fingers and toes crossed that the berthing situation will be sorted out tomorrow and we get to sleep in our big comfy spacious bed for the first time in 3 months tomorrow night (instead of our tiny wee triangular shaped crew bunks)!

I have a card to share today that I made a while ago, but hadn't got around to posting yet.  It is one of my favourites at the moment...

This supercute gnome and mushroom house are both digis from Pink Cat Studio.  I love the way they colour up... they always make me smile.  I have coloured them with copics (see details below) and added ribbon from my stash and embroidery thread and a wee charm.  The tag is a sticker from Crate Paper and the sentiment is from two sentiment stamp sets by Pollycraft.  The papers are from October Afternoon.

Here is a close-up:

Gnomes!

I just love the new gnomes from Pink Cat Studio!  I have coloured a few up now, but I have only made one card.  They are definitely on my list for more cards to make though!

I followed the March sketch for SFYTT at I {heart} 2 Stamp:

and rotated it...

I really love how this card turned out!

The papers are from Bo Bunny and October Afternoon and the sentiment is from the Pollycraft Sonny Honeycloud - Sonny Says set.  The ribbon and twine are from The Ribbon Girl.  I have coloured the image with copics (see below). I LOVE these gnomes!

A quick and simple card

I wanted a quick card making fix the other night, so I chose a really simple layout and went with a smaller than my usual card size (I think this is 10 x 10 instead of my usual 14.5 x 14.5 square size) and an image I had already coloured up.  I think this simple layout could be good for a batch of Thank you cards or Just because cards...

I think the paper is from Cosmo Cricket (but my apologies if it is actually October Afternoon).  The image is a digi from Pink Cat Studio and it is coloured with copics.  I have zig zagged around the outside edge for interest.

We had a quick look around Kusadasi today but there wasn't too much to see where we are without taking a car or taxi and most of the shops were closed as it is winter.  However, I did manage to buy some turkish bowls, turkish delight and turkish tea, so it was a successful day for me.  We also had a lovely lunch in a restaurant with a great view out to sea.  I did discover a fish hook in my mouthful of Octopus, but thankfully wasn't hooked or scratched by it.
