I wanted to add some little last minute Christmas gifts to the pile under the tree but couldn't find anything small that wasn't junky so then I remembered I had seen some corner bookmarks in my travels around blogland that looked useful and kinda cool. I had a hunt around and found a few tutorials, but none that were exactly what I had in mind, so I made my own template... and I think they actually turned out quite cool!
I cut my shape out with design paper and scored the fold lines for the triangular wings, then I used double sided tape to stick the flaps down to create the corner pocket to go over the page of the book. I embellished with ribbons, buttons, brads, flowers and digi stamps that I coloured in with my copics.
I am going to enter these in the Mad for Markers Anything Goes challenge. Hop on over there and have a look at all the other wonderful creations!

These are great. Thanks for joining in at Mad for Markers
Arabella turned up at our house on Christmas Day with these beautiful bookmarks - one for each of us, wrapped up and specially designed. I love mine most with we two special friends pictured.
SUCH a superb idea.
Well done gorgeous girl.
