Good morning! It's a wet and stormy day here in Athens... not lovely at all. I hope it's nicer where you are! I just wanted to pop in and share some happy mail that came for me in the post last week...
I was the super lucky winner of the March TGF release! Woohoo! And there's also an Oh Boy Ian in there that I won in a sketch challenge! Now if I could only find some time to play with them!
Last night I stuck them all into my new folder with EZ Mount dividers... so cool! Now I just need to trim them when I get time!

Casing Lou Mac at The Greeting Farm
Good evening! I hope you had a lovely lazy Sunday like we did! We got a bit of a surprise this morning though as without warning, it appears that Daylight Savings has started here in Greece. That sort of thing is always a bit of a problem when you don't speak the language and therefore can't watch the news!
Anyway, I had a bit of free crafting time yesterday, so I decided to play along with The Greeting Farm's Friday Spy Day challenge (number 25) which was to case THIS card by Lou Mac. Here's what I came up with:
It was actually kind of fun to case someone else's card! The image I have used is CC Lula (yet another previously uninked TGF stamp I own). The main paper I have used is from October Afternoon and the little brown bits are from Simple Stories. The lace is some that I picked up while I was in Sydney recently. The seam binding ribbon and twine is from The Ribbon Girl. The buttons and brad are from my stash (I think Doodlebug and My Mind's Eye respectively). The flowers are from Prima. The sentiment I made using Doodlebug rub-ons. The tag and centre cloud square were cut with my Slice machine.
Here's a close-up of Lula:
And here are the copics I used:
As well as The Greeting Farm's Friday Spy Day challenge, I would like to link with with Inspire Me Friday's linky party and the Anything Goes challenge at Stampin' for the Weekend.
Right, I'm off to do some more colouring!
Happy Sunday!

I really love these papers from Simple Stories, but I always have the hardest time using them! I have cut them up so many times to use on a card and then left them off! The other papers I have used are from Crate Paper and Bo Bunny. I have coloured Blush Bonnie and her wings (from Hero Arts I think) with copics. I masked Bonnie with sticky masking paper (Frisket Film) before stamping the wings. The Post card stamp is definitely from Hero Arts. The seam binding ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the flower is by Prima.

Good morning! It's a lovely sunny day here in Athens... still a bit chilly though. I haven't got too much planned for today, so hopefully I should get lots of crafting time in! I'm also hoping to load up some cards into my new Da Wanda shop to sell... will see how that goes.

Here's a card I made yesterday using one of my previously uninked The Greeting Farm stamps. This one is called Birthday Ian.
How cool is this? Last night I learned how to crop my images into a circle using Gimp. Very cool, but probably not very useful!
Here's the sketch I followed:
I really struggled with this card and I'm not happy with the final outcome. I wanted to use the airplane paper that I have had in my stash for ages, but I don't think I did it justice with the other papers I paired it with. I tried so many different combinations!
Anyway, the papers I ended up with are from Cosmo Cricket, October Afternoon and Echo Park I think. I have been using up lots of scraps lately so it is hard to tell where some of them come from. The crystals are by Prima and the Happy Birthday sentiment is from LOTV. The 'to' is from Some Odd Girl. I coloured Ian with copics (see picture below).
I would like to enter this card into The Greeting Farm Saturday Sketch Challenge #7. I have uploaded the picture to Split Coast Stampers (what a pain! I much prefer Mr Linky!).
Here are the copics I used:
That's it from me today folks! Tomorrow we have some lovely New Releases to show you from Little Miss Muffet Stamps!
Ciao!

The Greeting Farm Retro Spring Cleaning!
Good morning! If you are interested in my 100 Follower blog candy, please click HERE.
I have used this month's sketch from I{heart}2Stamp which looks like this:
So, recently I was the lucky winner of the March releases from The Greeting Farm. I was super excited (and still am!) They haven't arrived in the mail yet, but I can't wait to have a play! Anyway, that lucky win inspired me to ink up some of my TGF stamps that haven't been inked yet. TGF stamps were the very first ones I bought and I still love them! I just haven't had time to use them lately with all my DT commitments. That and my mojo has been missing, so it has been taking me HOURS to complete one card lately. I must shamefully admit that I have loads of un-inked TGF stamps. I am planning on remedying that shortly, so watch this space!
Here's a card I made recently using Simply Anya:
She's so cute, how could I not have inked her up before?! The little apple charm has also just been sitting there in my stash waiting and waiting to be used... ditto for the yellow staples.
I have used this month's sketch from I{heart}2Stamp which looks like this:
The papers are a mixture from my stash. The blue one I have had for AGES and not used... it has a neat beach scene on the other side that could be very cool for Oliver and Amelia - Summer Fun or Surfer Anya or Ian... I think the yellow one is from Crate Paper and the Argyle is from My Mind's Eye. I keep cutting the Argyle one up to use and then leaving it off my projects in the end, so I was determined to use it on this one.
The ribbon and twine are both from The Ribbon Girl. The crochet flower is one of mine and the button is a Doodlebug button. The sentiment is a rub on from Pebbles.
Here's a close-up:
And here are the copics I used:
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
I{heart}2Stamp: March Sketch
TGF Farm Fresh Challenge: Spring Cleaning's Gone Retro (use old stuff from your stash)
Have a lovely Friday!
