Tiddly Inks Blog hop coming up!

We are having so much fun with Wryn and her friends that we would like to celebrate in a big way....we're going to have a blog hop!!!

It is going to be a biggg one too! LOL The DT will join in, but we hope you join in and create something for the hop since it will be open to everyone to play along. Feel free to swap out the badges for the new blog hop one if you plan to join in. :)

We will re-post this again prior to the blog hop, so keep your peepers peeled, but here are the details:

Theme: Friends are the Flowers of Life: Use any Tiddly Inks digital image to create a card or project and participate in the blog hop

Dates: 6 PM CST on Friday January 13 to 6 PM CST on Saturday January 14

How to Participate: Create a new Tiddly Inks project and post on your personal blog between 12 PM CST and 5:55 PM CST on January 13. The title of your post should be "Friends are the Flowers of Life - Tiddly Inks Blog Hop".

Once your blog post is live, visit the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and link your blog hop post in the Inlinkz list at the bottom of the "Flowers" Blog Hop post in order to be qualified for the prizes. There is no need to sign up in advance---just have a post ready to link. The Inlinkz list will close at 6 PM and then we hop, Wryn style, from the Tiddly Inks challenge blog.

The blog hop will run until January 14 at 6 PM. We will have a wrap-up "party" on January 14 in the Tiddly Inks PCP group from 6 PM to 10 PM CST. Stop in and chat with us in the comment section at the bottom of the page. Between 6 PM and 10 PM CST, one lucky PCP commenter will be randomly selected to receive the next 2 Tiddly Inks stamps before anyone else (free of charge).

Prizes: Two blogger participants selected from the Inlinkz list will be announced January 15 and highlighted on the TI challenge blog. Each will receive a $10 gift voucher.

There will also be random prizes throughout the DT blogs, so be sure to comment and visit each one. :)

We really hope you can join in!

Pollycraft Monday #122 Anything But a Card

Good morning!  Things are back to normal at Pollycraft after the holidays and we will start having weekly challenges again from now on.

The lovely Jane has set us a hard one to start the year off... Anything But a Card...

Our fabulous sponsor this week is the Funky Farm Scrapbook Barn!
who are offering a £10.00 voucher for their fabulous shop for the winner!

Funky Farm Scrapbook Barn offers a fast, friendly and personal service
providing gorgeous stash to cardmakers and scrappers! Offering Customers
FREE postage over £25.00 and a loyalty scheme - Why not give us a try!?

The sale at Funky Farm Scrapbook Barn is well underway now with many items
reduced and some with more than 75% off!!!

I was really stumped with this one for a while because I didn't want to make another bookmark, so finally I decided to make a gift box for cards.  I'm not 100% happy with how it turned out... I think I don't like the paper I chose.  Ah well... such is life!  You really must check out my teamies makes though as they are all just fabulous!

Here's my card gift box:

It was kind of hard to get a good picture of... but you get the idea!  The cute fairy image is from the Swings and Slides Enchant and Explore collection and the papers are from Making Memories (I think).  The lid and base are both made from the same patterned paper, just reversed since they are double sided.  The chipboard flower is from Crate Paper and the swirly bling is from Prima.  The butterfly is from Maya Road and I have painted it with Ranger paint dabbers.  The seam binding ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.

I used a tutorial from here to make the box.  I like this method as it makes the box quite sturdy with the double layered sides.  The box is 14cm x 14cm x 4.5cm.

I would like to enter this box into the following challenges:
Dream Valley Challenges: Anything Goes
Gingerloft Challenge #31: Anything Goes
One Stitch at a Time #95: Use 3 different Embellishments
2 Sisters Challenge #73: Things with Wings
CES Challenge #57: Anything Goes

Here are a few more pics:

And here are the copics I used:

I hope you can join us for the challenge!

Happy Monday!

Copicendium Volume 2

Good morning!  It's a somewhat chilly Saturday morning here in Athens.  At least it's not as windy as it was yesterday... we recorded a whopping 58knots on the boat in the marina just after midday!  I tell you, all that movement was making me a bit sea sick!

I was planning on taking the day off work yesterday and spending a lovely day crafting all by myself in my craft room since I had some time owing, but unfortunately fate and my boss stepped in and asked me to cater for a dinner party for them last night, so my crafty hopes were dashed!

Ah well, maybe I will take Monday off instead!  I really need to catch up and get ahead with all my crafty commitments as we are planning on taking a month's holiday in February!

I have a quick card to share today that I made months ago and kind of forgot about as I submitted it to the Mad for Markers Copicendium mini magazine... which just came out recently.  You can get yours here.  My husband flicked through the mag when it arrived and spotted my card instantly... he says I have my own distinctive style... I'm not sure if that is a good or a bad thing, but it's lovely that he pays attention!

These images are both from Pollycraft... the penguin is Dexter the penguin - gifts and the tree is Decorated Christmas tree.  Both are coloured with copics (see details below).  The papers are from Crate Paper and October Afternoon (I wish I could buy shares in these companies!).  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.  I did follow a sketch, but I can't remember whose now.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge:
Jingle Belles Rock: No Time Like the Present(s)

Here are the copics I used:

Have a lovely weekend!

Something New at Little Miss Muffet Stamps

Good morning!  It's time for a new challenge at Little Miss Muffet stamps!  We had lots of entries into our last challenge of 2011 and it was fun to see all your gorgeous projects!   The challenge for this fortnight is Something New.  We also have two new DT members joining our team, so head over to the challenge blog and check out their cards!

For my card I decided to use Chloe and my new chipboard trees from Maya Road...

Isn't she lovely?  I quite like that she has such a big blank sweater that you can add details like stripes to where and when you want to.  I have coloured her with copics (see details below).  I can't remember where the papers are from... will have to check and update.  The stamp is from Inkadinkadoo and the tree and bird are from Maya Rd.  The chipboard trees come in this funky tin...

Cute huh?

This is Wryn - New Wings.  Isn't she cute?  I have coloured her with copics (see details below).  The papers are from Crate Paper and October Afternoon.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the sentiment is from LOTV.   Those beautiful felt flowers are a new purchase from Emma at Sew Sweet.  She has them in loads of colours!  I think I might have to go back to some more!

Cosmic Birthday and Tiddly Inks New Releases!

Good morning!  Well we had our New Years guest trip on the boat and it all went well.  The crew were all exhausted when we got home though!  We had very little sleep due to the weather.  We took yesterday off work to recuperate and relax a bit and I finally got to spend some time catching up on some crafting that I got very behind in.

Today is the first challenge of the year at Tiddly Inks and we have a couple of changes to our challenges this year.  You can check out the details here.  We also have two new super talented members joining the Tiddly Inkers... Hannah and Wendy, so if you get a chance it would be lovely if you could check out their blogs and say hello!

And now, for more exciting news... Christy has been been busy creating again and today is the new release day for the adorable Wryn 'n Friends as well as Silver the dog.  You don't want to miss these cuties!  Head on over to Christy's blog and have a peek!  Christy is also having a 36 hour 30% off sale so you'll want to find out how you can take advantage of that too!

I have to say I think Wryn is just the cutest wee girl ever and I can't wait to get back to my craft desk and make some more cards with her!    I'll show you my first Wryn card tomorrow, but for today, here's my card for this fortnight's challenge... the theme is CELEBRATE!

This little guy is called Come in Cuteness... isn't he gorgeous?!  I have coloured him with copics (see details bellow) and added some Stickles to his antennae.  The papers are from October Afternoon, American Crafts and My Mind's Eye.  The sentiment is from Pollycraft.  The wee planet in the top right corner is a rubber charm from October Afternoon.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp and Show: Something Old, Something New (old paper in my stash, new rubber charm and stamp)
Heartsong Inspirations #29: Anything Goes

I'm late!

I'm late with my Little Miss Muffet Stamps post today!  Sorry about that!  Things got on top of me this week... My parents left to fly back to NZ this morning and we have a guest trip starting this evening, so it was a race to get everything organised!  We had a great time with my parents, but I hope they weren't too bored!  They helped me out at work a lot!  I hope their looong trip back to NZ goes smoothly.

This week at Little Miss Muffet stamps we are showcasing a new Sugar n' Spice Dolls cutie called Saffron.  She is actually a FREEBIE, so if you head over here you can find out how to get her!  We have some very talented guests this week too, so head over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out all the fabulous creations from the team!  And don't forget we have an Anything Goes and be a follower challenge running at the moment as well as a DT call!

Here's my card:

I have coloured Saffron with copics (see details below) and followed the current sketch at Sketch Saturday.  The papers are from Crate Paper as are the border stickers in the background.  The brads are from the Stella and Rose collection from My Minds Eye.  The sentiment is made with Doodlebug rubons.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Kala Christouyenna/Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas or Kala Christouyenna if you are in Greece!  I wish everyone a wonderful Christmas full of fun and laughter and love and celebration with friends and family!

Well Mum and I have spent all day baking and prepping for our Christmas meal tomorrow and hopefully we will hardly have to do anything at all tomorrow other than unwrap prezzies and drink coffee and eat lovely Christmas baking!  Maybe if I'm really lucky I will get to sneak away and play in my craft room when everyone else is napping : )

Anyway, here's one more Christmas card to share with you... 'cause it won't be any good posting Christmas cards on the blog after Christmas!

I just love the gorgeous Lilli Claire - Sweet Christmas Dreams from Tiddly Inks!  I am wondering if I could possibly disguise her candy cane and use her after Christmas... what do you think?

Lilli Claire is coloured with copics and I have added Glossy Accents to her candy cane and Stickles to the pom pom on her hat.

The papers are from October afternoon as is the sticker.  The snowflakes are from Make it Crafty.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the charm is from Telfords Direct.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Anything Goes and DT Call and freebie at Little Miss Muffet Stamps!

Good morning!  Only 3 more sleeps 'til Christmas!  Wooppeeee!  I don't know why I get so excited about Christmas, but I just love finding the right gifts for people... I just hope they all like them!

I was planning on having a relaxing lead up to Christmas, but a spanner was thrown in the works and I now have to work on Thursday and Friday this week (I was hoping to take those days off) which means I won't be able to relax Saturday as I will have to do my food prep then for the big day!  Oh well... que sera.  I also have to cook at the boss's office on Tuesday and the shops will be closed on Monday, so will have to provision for that on Saturday as well... what a pain!

Today we have a very easy Anything Goes challenge for you at Little Miss Muffet stamps but we would like you to become a follower to enter.  Aaaaand we are having a DT call!  Barbara has a supercute freebie you can use for your DT call card if you are interested!  Head on over to the challenge blog to check out the details and of course to see the wonderful creations from my teamies!

I have made another small card today using one of the Hatter's hats...

The hat belongs to Linda Lee Hatter and I have coloured it with copics (see details below).  The fabby paper is from my favourite paper company... October Afternoon.  I have added buttons from my stash to the button card.  The wooden button is from Crate Paper.   The butterfly is from October afternoon and the sentiment tag is cut with my Slice machine.  The sentiment itself is an SRM sticker.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Bearly Mine Challenges #26: Anything Goes
Everybody Art Challenges #123: Anything Goes
Try it On Tuesday: Anything Goes

Hope you can join us for the Anything Goes challenge and of course the DT call!

Genius

Hello!  Wow!  Two posts in a two days! That seems to be a record for me at the moment!  It's like that at this time of the year though isn't it?

I just popped in to share a card I made using the Tiddly Inks image Genius.

Isn't he gorgeous?! I used a sketch from Deconstructing Jen to base the card layout on.  Here is it here.  The blue paper are from October Afternoon and the kraft paper is from My Mind's Eye (I think).  I have added felt stars from The Craft Barn and sentiment alpha stickers from my local craft store in NZ.  Did you know G9 is txt shorthand for Genius (and also goodnight apparently).

Here's a close-up of him:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
